What is an inflatable tent?

Inflatable tent is able to be set up easily by using air beam structure instead of metal poles. Therefore, you are not required to assemble poles anymore.

What are benefits of inflatable tent?

As explained above, the structural part is totally different and there are a number of benefits having an inflatable tent.

• It can be installed by one person

• It takes less than 10 minutes to pump up the air beams

• Air beams provide high stability

• It is easy to deflate and pack the tent

Especially, when you have young kids and your partner has to look after them, inflatable tent is definitely an option for your family.

How long does it take to setup an inflatable tent?

There are two options. One is using a hand pump, the other is using an electric pump.

With an electric pump, it takes about 5 - 10 minutes for a small size tent and takes about 10 - 20 minutes for medium to large tent.

Check out the video in the link below. It shows how to pitch an inflatable tent.

Is an inflatable tent safe?

Inflatable tent can withstand up to 8,000mm (waterhead rating) and up to 70-80 mpg of gust.

There are a number of different inflatable tents available and you can compare the tents against your needs (family size, space on your vehicle, etc).

Last advice I can give you is that you should check if it offers ‘Single Point Inflation’ and if the air beams can easily be replaced.

I hope this post helps you understand the basics of Inflatable Tent. Happy camping!
